Harrassment for being deaf at work

How do you guys deal with an employer who constantly makes jokes about your handicap?

What if one day, you say "what, I didn't understand you?" then your employer grabs your shoulders and shouts in your ear?

What if they think this is funny?

What if you tell them to stop and they do not think you are being serious and continue doing it?

How would you handle this?
 
Talk to your supervisor, if not, Human Resources, if not, Vice President, if not President in a formal letter.

If you do it back, it will get ugly, and no win-win situation.

Thanks .... what if the harrassment is coming from a supervisor? Same sequence?
