If you want to try different browsers on your Android..

I suggest you check out Dolphin Browser HD it can be found in apps market.

I just installed it now and I like it so far..

But as Epic is still on Android 2.1 so no flash support yet for browsers however rumors said 2.2 will be out this month for Epic.


EVO users should have flash support since it alerady at 2.2 I think .. i can be mistaken thou. Correct me if I am wrong.

Today, we were at Sprint Store for try out on EPIC and EVO. They set up QIK for us. My friend and I think that EPIC/EVO vs EPIC/EPIC vs EVO/EVO are not great quality video phone.

Our opinion that iphone with facetime is better EVO or EPIC with QIK.

Yes, you are correct. Today, we were at Sprint Store. I noticed that EPIC won't work with flash at ZVRS's website. EVO does work well with flash at ZVRS's website.

My original iphone won't work with flash at ZVRS

You should have tried Tango. I have used QIK but switched over to Tango now.

I kinda like Tango better than QIK.


And Did they test QiK over wifi or over 3G/4G

Remember facetime only works on wifi unless you got a jailbroken iPhone. So I bet if facetime was on 3G the quailty of the facetime would be simlar to QiK on 3G.

I looked at little 4G at top of screen of EPIC & EVO. Also, they have next door Panera restaurant. I have no idea what they use 4G or Wifi. I doubt that Sprint Store will accept to download Tango on display EVO/EPIC.

Our area, they have many free wifi. I would say about between 1/4 to 1 mile apart: Hospital, stores, restaurant, library, Gas Station, Hotel, Schools and my office's next door. That's why, I still use original iphone without SIM card (no service) and no jailbreak apps. I do not need to collect junk stuff on my iphone. Maybe, I will buy ipod Touch 4th gen or wait for Ipad 2nd Gen or Android 2.2 tablet with front video camera.

If you ask I bet Spirit would download Tango and try it out cuz it could be one of their selling points for the phone.

It doesn't hurt to ask :)

Tango company are currently working on an update so that you can use Tango on the iPod Touch 4G. Please stay tuned for updates.

If you use calender to track your appointments or events then calender alerts reminder is pretty weak with one time alert with tiny alert icon on top so get this apps called Nudnik

Nudnik you can set repeating vibratation and also you can set to wake and light up screen with a stick it note on screen very visual alert and worth getting

Second if you are eBook reader then I suggest this app called Aldiko It a very nice reader and have lot of customize settings

I use Kindle for Android, and it keeps crashing on certain pages or when I try to get out. I am wondering if Aldiko is better and is Kindle compatiable (reads .mobi and .epub files)

Came here looking for info on any VRS services on Epic.... so far Mainstream VRS is the only one I could find and their market search yielded nothing for Epic 4g.

Yes, I heard the same thing, but ZVRS search on Android VRS yielded nothing except Mainstream VRS which says works for EVO - I am inquiring about EPIC with them, but have not heard back from them yet.
