Yesterday I went to the seaside with my friend. We went to pizza hut for lunch, played in the arcades(slot machines etc) took a walk, got some doughtnut, went back to his then he drove me home. today, it's a quiet day, watching tv, mum needs to take a drive to find our new hairdressers, we may have to go to Accident & Emergency since my sister was bitten on her leg by a dog(not badly) then tomorrow I have to go to the job centre, and hopefully will get a reply if I got that job or not

My brother's girlfriend wanted my son and I to come back to her place again to go swimming. I am just toooo tired from her pool party yesterday so I think we will just relax at home. Sometimes, doing something every day is exhausting.

Also, my hubby keeps forgetting to lock the front door. How can I get him to remember without nagging?

Got roughed up playing pool basketball by the guys..now, my little toe is dislocated and I have bruises all over. Ooops!

I have never thought of little toe would get dislocated. ouchie. hope it goes back to normal soon. feel better!

Thanks...
I broke it 5 years ago and since then, it gets easily dislocated. Everytime that happens, I want to scream a lot of bad words. It hurts hurts so much! I cant touch it now because it will hurt. I hate this whole thing.

Rent a storage locker, put your most expensive stuff into storage, trash the place, leave the front door slightly ajarred.

Set a booby trap whenever someone enters the house...like your hubby will learn a lesson not to mess with the door again. ;)

Note on the pillow

Good idea!!! I dont know what is wrong with my hubby..my SUV gets stolen and he still forgets to lock the door especially when I am sleeping. Someone can come in and hurt us. It is so frustrating to constantly remind him over and over again without getting into an argument about it.

Worked for 4 hours and then went to the park to jog. Jogged for 90 mins! Not bad!

Hello. :) Are your summer jobs over now?

Hi Botti! :)

Not quite! I work at the waterpark until Labour Day, and then I have to figure out what else to do. I finished my other job (it was at another tourist attraction -- more specifically, a sugar bush -- even more specifically, their restaurant) back in April. Maple syrup only runs from February-April. I'm sure a lot of people wondered what kind of seasonal job ran from Frebruary-April.

Unfortunately the waterpark has not given me many hours until now. I vacationed for a week (the week of July 4th-10th) at a lake, and before that, they were giving me weekends (because of school). Just recently I've started taking up 5 day weeks. My days have been pretty busy. I want to start coming here more often, now that I have the time. I don't know why I haven't been coming here more often already, considering I have been bored lately.

Oh, and an update... remember that manager of mine who made comments regarding my hearing? At the beginning of July she was demoted at a meeting, and she decided to quit. :) My job has since improved, needless to say.

How are things with everyone else?

Hubby and I had a long talk. It seems this is his mother's way of saying she is scared and doesn't want us to leave. She was never one to really open up and talk things out, just uses snide comments and remarks. Hubby is used to that. I am more used to a very open family where we all talk things out and work it out together. Hubby knows he wants to leave, but he is worried about his mother. He is also worried about me. This morning is not very good for me, since I just don't know quite how to deal with it, so the waterworks start and I'm too darn old to sit here and cry like a child. Ah well! I know it will get better.

Hubby escaped and went to play racquetball, the fiend. Son is in his room on laptop and daughter just woke up and is laing in my bed playing on her DS. I am biding my time until I have to take MIL to her hair appointment.

Thanks for all the kind words. I know it will get better eventually. I only hope hubby really thinks before making his decision. It really is a "catch 22" situation. She needs us, but we need to get away. She has no one else to help, only us, but she doesn't know how to handle having an extra family living with her.

KristinaB, sure is a sticky situation dealing with your MIL. You and the family appear to do so much for her. Of course, you are concerned for her well being physically and mentally. You have done so much, she needs to appreciate all your help you have given her.

Picked up four DVD's from the library. They are for health and such. Educational about the New Food Pyramid, help for reducing stress and mental exercises, Dieting help and exercises for people with mobility issues.

The stress and mental exercises was captioned, in Mandarin.
All of the others said CC or Subtitles, and that's why I felt safe getting them. They weren't CC's or subtitled. Really burns me up.

Ah well, that just means more time on the internet I guess. I did get a few books and will put them under the magnifier so I can read them. Oh joy!
