I went to check to download Z4 today on ZVRS website and noticed a fine print on ZVRS.

When you buy Z340 or Z150 or any Z device you do not own it and you only purchased it at a subsibized price.

If you sell it or give to someone else and ZVRS find out then they disable Z Device and they will charge you 250 dollars.

Fine print reads
NOTICE: If you decide to purchase a videophone from The Z™ at the subsidized price, you must affirm that you are deaf or hard of hearing, that the Z videophone will be for your own personal use and that you will not transfer the Z videophone to any other person under any circumstances. If a violation of any of these terms occur, your phone will be disabled and a financial penalty of a minimum $250 will be assessed to you as a recovery fee. Please refer to The Z™ Product Agreement for further details.

 Can sell Purple P3 netbook to someone. No penalty fee.

Nothing wrong with that since it is subsidized. If they wont allow you to buy it at full price then maybe that's a problem. Why do VRS companies want to keep control over these devices?

It's because during the identify that don't want to be put in for mistake. I think

Problem is ZVRS Outreach Rep came to my home discussed about selling me the Z340 but he never mentioned the fine print rule to me.

And now I just found out about it yesterday and I know quite a few Deafs are not aware of this and they wanted to sell their Z340 because it did not have a web browser. They are unable to use it on many free wifi hotspot all over since it starting to expand all over requiring you to sign in with web browser.

So there nothing wrong to point it out and make it aware to the Deaf commuities since I was not made aware myself by the ZVRS Outreach Rep

True. When I worked to do with customers' netbooks, they were not satisfied with Z430 that unable to use web browser and wifi hotstop which requesting network key numbers. They were left them in storage. They were very happy to use P3 in netbooks or notebook.

Why will ZVRS charge $250 if selling or give it to someone? Unfair!!

You seem to know about ZVRS so I got a question if you don't mind.

Will ZVRS customers get thier money back on what they paid for if they return it after 30-90 days?

Thank you

DO not TRUST ZVRS! DO not give your Sorenson or HOVRS local number to ZVRS, they will go ahead PORT!!! DO not trust ZVRS!!!

Good question. I had read Z product agreement statement but no word for returning it back and money back. I believe that ZVRS is dirty business.

Z users, make sure to ask question to Z Help about return policy before buying Z340 or Z150.

I knew it going be like that but again still not right...

They shouldn't charge even ANY VRS shouldn't charge it.

If they need 'charge' for insurance purpose damage VP device that sound reason-able... but that kind stuff like that and I disagree that

ZVRS costs and transfer of phones

Just to clear. If anyone is unhappy with a Z phone we will take it back anytime for a full refund.

Full Refund anytime not 30 or 90 days,, anytime a year later whatever..

yes we do not want you to transfer our phones especially to hearing people
we pay over $300 for a Z340 but we sell for less than $100..

On porting, yes we ask people to port. our team is instructed to make sure customers know what porting is..
When a number is ported from a Sorenson phone, Sorenson takes all key features away from the VP200 as what can only be described as punishment for porting. We do not do this.

And again if anyone is not happy, full refund anytime..

"punishment"

I think you are so damn wrong.. like for example tmobile, sprint, cable, dsl, etc they have features... Sprint has features which are nascar and NFL.. Tmobile has NBA and go on. If you switch to new cell phone with different compmany you will lost features... That just ZVRS do the dirty business, period! NO DISCUSSION!!! Sorenson did do the right thing because FCC approved. you idiot zvrs!
