I am curious to find out what the majority of you feel is your comfortable age range of someone you would get involved with? This could be anywhere from staying within your age range give or take a few years to any age range. What are the main reasons for your choice?

Similar Age, +/- 5-10 years

I am a conditional sort, comfortable with similar age range, but have a max tolerance touching on generations up to 10-15 years, BUT, he'd better be in pretty good shape! ;)

This one was a hard one...

I voted for the 5 to 10 years gap since I am comfortable with that generation... but willing to stretch it to 15 or more depending on how much I like that person. :\

I voted Similar Age, +/- 5-10 years although it would only be in the plus direction. I wouldn't consider dating anyone younger than me by more than a year or two. Infact, I'd probably stretch to +15 years, but it entirely depends on the person.

being born in the '80s is the perfect range for me. i was born in 1987, and i'm a female so there's a small range for younger males.

Same - I was born jan 88 so dating someone 10years younger would make them 11 or 12! hmmm... I think NOT! :nono:

I voted similiar age..

My ex hubby was a year and 4 months older than me and my current hubby is a year and 4 months younger than me. Strange isnt it?

I've never been drawn to men my age (23), they're still babies in my eyes!

I was 18 when I met my ex, he was 25. Now he is 30 and the age gap never bothered me, I actually prefer it that way.

my hubby is a year younger than I am. He looks older than I am. That is good enough for me. ;)

My woman and I are 22 years apart. We didn't plan it out and our love/respect/admiration for each other grew over a year of constant on line chatter. We knew each other in person prior to my moving to my present location and then she moved to 6 hours away.
Some folks aren't put off by it and others are.
It doesn't matter. We're mature adults, we respect each other and it doesn't matter what others think.

yes , is hard one! my b/friend 10 year old than me. I think 10-15 yaer would be my personal limit. but that just me personaly. strange thing is I would not date boy 2 year younger than me.

I can say the same about any girls under the age of 25. There's some ageism for you.

Oi, I hate university for that reason alone-- a lot of immature people. Lucky it's a hub for mature people as well.

I agree with placing the limit to minors 17 & under, it was a bit of a challenge to set up the poll to accomodate every age gap possibility, so I used +/- (give OR take) your current age with, of course, conditions. Although my max tolerance is up to +10-15 years, I'm currently 33, so my lower limit is -8 (25 years of ade), NOT 23-18 (Too immature in my experience.) :)

I second that, if she's in good health and looks well within my age range, then age is just a number. ;)

Well, now now, we all guys better be careful of Jess, she's sure a nutcracker!
