Last Movie You Watched?

Part 3 is the worst of the trilogy. Part 2 was always my personal fav.
I know it was the worst of the trilogy. I'm just saying that it was good. Of course, the second was a lot better.

The story in the third movie was pretty vague. Even though I got the point of the movie, it seemed to end... like the play that was also done in the movie. Makes it predictable.

I was in the mood for a Vietnam war movie, so I watched Platoon. It is a timeless movie.

The problem was that it was a sequel to two masterpieces. But it's still a good movie, it's just not as good as the others.

I read in GQ magazine Francis had no intentions on doing Godfather 3. The decision was a result of the studio wanting to cash in on the success of his other 2 films. To me that's why the movie is subpar compared to the other two films. His heart was not in in the right place. Kinda upsets me. He could have went off and did a personal film, which he favors, but instead he waste that talent on GF3. He's actually directed some pretty crappy stuff lately but if you pay attention his name is attached to a lot of projects as producer: Lost in Translation (which his daughter, Sofia, directed) being among those.
I don't think we've seen the last of him directing and he will drop something amazing in a few years. Sofia is fantastic also. The Virgin Suicides is one of my favorite films.

During the GQ interview he discusses how he was asked to help with a script for Godfather 4, not direct, just lend a helping hand but the studio turned it down. He goes into details regarding the story premise - How it would be two parallel stories. The first occurring directly after GF2 and the other half concerned a less important character introduced in part 3.

I saw "The Clan of the Cave Bear"

Interesting about fictional historic in between 30k to 22k years ago, the tribe people use sign language to communicate.

I watched Defiance last night and I must say, it was good. I just seem to have a knack for movies that are based on true stories. :)

I agree, Defiance is a good movie. I am surprised that it didn't last long in the cinemas though (at least in Melbourne).

Yeah... the "I want to hump you." sign language. Hehehe!

Last House IS a 'revenge' film or more specifically a remake of Wes Craven's original exploitation film.

Removing the revenge or torturing would be like taking out all the kung fu from Drunken Master. ;-p

Heh.

Revenges does not make anybody to feel better but it only brings you more pain. I think a revenge is so pointless. :)

TerminatorL Salvation
Observe and Report
The Hangover
Sugar
The Boy...Pajamas
The Damned

Downloaded all of these via torrent last night. Been busy this morning :)

Last night I watched Pinocchio on ABC Family. I remember that movie when I was little boy.

The Haunting in Connecticut
The Legend of Lucy Keyes

I recently watched Quantum of Solace with my dad earlier this evening. :)

that was the worse bond film ive ever seen. huge dissapointment
right now watching "The China Sydrome' not bad at all, very 70's well, late 70's right in 1979. LOL its fun poking out the headlines they throw in the film 'explosion in middle east'..'FDA been asked to ban all food additives'...its cracking up, kind goes to show NOTHING is new......all the same old hype and politics were just recycled... put it this way we think its funny to watch the 1979 film and thinking how gullible the whole mass is, while new we have 'concerns' right here in 2009, exactly 30 years in future, we dont exactly laugh about it. Its hard to not wonder what will people in the future from now in 2039 think of our anixeties to our 'new' headlines in today's films......its crazy

just saw Banlieu 13 Ultimatum (french movie) and Alien Trespass last nite. Both were piece of shit :mad2:

I don't know why but I've been craving for Westerner/cowboy/Wyatt Earp-like movies. Problem is - I've seen most of old movies. I'm wondering if ya'all know any new titles out there now :hmm:
