Wondering if the new rule would effect. The ones that have been banned long ago. Old ADers that were banned.

Just wondering. Since the rule was not in effect back then. Or will they be given the same chance?

Will you guys like to see Alex to un-ban Heath and give him another chance ?

I know who Heath is. However, I have no comment about his ban.

I have no idea who he is.

Since you mentioned his/her name. Why don't you tell us why he/she was banned...

Heath has changed a lot over the past few years. Heath is no longer a Bible thumping white nationalist

You make a good point. About how people can change over the years. People learn and mature over the years.

So I would say to unban some of the permabanned folks to give them another chance, regarding the new rules, or giving them a probationary period of some sort.

It is easier said than done...
Not saying it shouldn't be done, just saying if someone does do it, there's overtime unpaid work involved.

Course, we want to see some people back.
But due to the controversy the other week, now we have to wonder about the rest of those who met a six warning ban!

Would any of you guys like digging through a list of over 50-100+ banned people and evaluate them one by one?
You don't get to mass-unban the banned group.. Only one by one.

What about those who got p-banned and moved on? Living life without AD, its possible.

I would assume it will take a few hours for any mod or admin. just to go through the separate unban process, not including searching or evaluating what they were banned for.

So, in result if the mods or admin take on the reins of this "rehabilitation" project, they are well overdue more respect than they already deserve.

To be equitable, the permabans should have to hold if Jillio has to serve her 30 days since she got it before the rule change.

If it really is meant to be fair, all bans before the rules change are not able to be lifted.

At least according to the moderators.
