I work for a major retail chain and three days a week I work in an office. I have a CI, but it has only been activated since December. I am still "learning to hear" and have not tried to use a phone. I may never be able to use a land line phone and due to that, I put in an ADA request for a Captel phone as the office deals with just as many "in store" calls as out of store calls. Captel would allow me to use the intercom style calls as well as out of store calls. I put in my request at the first of the month, Sept. 2008, and still have had no reply. What should I do? Contact a lawyer? Threaten to do so? Any help????
