To the pro-lifers...suppose abortion becomes illegal and women resort to back alley abortions, what are you going to do to "ban" abortion? Stake out every alley in this country?

but it's the truth. nice try to troll. I kindly ask you to participate with something pertinent to this thread.

I believe Dutch IS participating in this thread. I'd like him stay since us pro lifers are usually so much outnumbered in these threads.

I wasnt aware that it was a game of numbers between the pro-choicers and pro-lifers...

outnumbered? Well go ahead and get 2000 pro-lifers if you want. You still cannot win against us few pro-choicers because the Supreme Court and the medical community are on our side. :cool2:

It only takes 1 intelligent pro-lifer with intelligent opinion (with no sob story) that is ACTUALLY relevant & pertinent to Roe v. Wade to give us pro-choicers a double-take.

Whilst it's sad when people resort to back street abortions, the death toll is still greater when abortion is legal.

In case you are confused I'm also including the deaths of the babies too. And the mothers who kill themselves due to forced abortions.

It isn't a game for me.

I find abortion very upsetting on so many levels.

That's why it's a refreshing change when you get new posters who add something fresh to the discussion.

Hence I don't think Dutch is a troll.

Then mothers are forced to carry their babies to term, keep them but end up abusing them, or killing them hence more death and destruction.

either way, nobody wins but the whole point is in this country, every woman has a constistutional right to do whatever medical procedure she wants and nobody else has the right to impose their values and beliefs on them.

You forgot one thing. We have this very advanced technology nowadays. Things are gettin' better than in old days. There won't be back alley abortions in the near future.

as long as a mother wants to kill her unborn child, there will always be back alley abortions.

ok, then we have advanced technology to perform abortions..great! Either way, abortions wont be banned completely.

Nah, I highly doubt it. It is not gonna happen in the near future. :)

To perform abortions ? That's YOUR view. This is not what I am viewin' about " performin' abortions ".

There have been many intelligent pro lifers taking part for a long time now. But they must get sick of having the same old faulty arguments repeated at them so they seem to stop posting eventually.

But for some reason the pro abortion people keep comming back repeating the same old jargon.

As for sob stories. The pro abortion lot come up with quite a few. The whole stand is one major sob story if you ask me:

Poor little ladies being deprived the right to murder their babies Oh boo hoo! boo hoo!

advanced technology? what you mean things are getting better than in old days? Are you supporting abortion with advanced technology? What does advanced technology have to do with abortion?

actually no. There are very few intelligent pro-lifers (non-religious) but there are many intelligent pro-lifers and their reasons are purely religious. Unfortunately - their religious views have no standings in legal case.

Again - the question of Roe v. Wade was "Does a woman have the right to privacy of the decision to do so?"

Why is it so hard for you guys to answer that question? Now you know why abortion was finally legalized.
