I am accounting from first hand experience as I used to live in Israel.

Living in a place and reading about a place are two different things.

When you have parents that are medical missionaries and they are carting their kids around the globe--one does get the full affect of the different cultures.

exactly what are medical missionaries? Are they assistants for doctors or fully-licensed doctors?

Absoltuely. And it gives you a much more valid world view than someone who has experienced no other culture than their own.

My father was a doctor and my mother is a nurse. They served as medical missionaries to regions that lacked medical care.

The Druze and the Bahai do have full citizenship status under the state of Israel and do participate in all aspects of Israeli soceity. They also make up a large percentage of the Israeli military as well, more so than the Jewish people of Israel.

And yet.....they are treated like 2nd class citizens by the Israelis/Jews. Just like how minorities are treated in this country.

You will have to provide me links to where Druze and Bahai are treated like second class citizens. I have a hard time finding it via googling. However, I do find plenty of examples where non-muslims are treated as second class in muslim countries. They are called dhimmi. Dhimmi have to pay taxes to keep their religion. If they can't pay taxes, they will have to convert to Islam or be killed. http://lexicorient.com/e.o/dhimmi.htm

Secondly--knowing that there are pro-Israel supporters in the news media, do you really think that they will allow an anti-Israel article to known to the world?
