Complain/Praise on Obama

Oh, are you talking about the automotive industry's leaders a few months back? I don't see how that can be blamed on the country's administration, and in fact the administration harshly rebuked them for doing so. The bailout is a 'rush-job' of a needed solution...... granted I admit it's not a good solution, but it was the democrats in the single-digit-approval-rating-congress that were trying to add all kinds of BS into the bailout (why it failed the first go-thru, and should have failed the second).

...and it was the republicans who supported the final bill.

point #1: obama is not a socialist. republicans have been claiming this ad nauseum ever since the election started. give it up.

point #2: so what if joe biden expects that the u.s. will be attacked by terrorists during the first 6 months of obama's presidency? what's new? this has been happening for years. it should come as no surprise.

It's his opinion and you need respect his opinion, however socialism isn't bad word to say.

Socialism is defined as more government support to help people.

I have agree with SimpleMan about Obama looks like socialist democrat, just for me.

guys,

let's wait and see how obama does during the first 6-12 months. if he doesn't fulfill his promises, then you have every right to complain. give him a chance...

<seconds that>

who says i'm not respecting simpleman's opinion? what, i don't have the right to disagree with him? it's called freedom of speech.

Think back on Bush Sr.'s second election; everyone said he broke his promise about 'no new taxes' (but congress 'forced' a tax increase) and therefore voted for Clinton who also said he wouldn't tax, yet within his first 3 months in office he initiated one of the largest tax increases in history.

...and it was president george w. bush who created the highest national debt in history and spent the most ever per month ($12 billion) on the war in iraq.

You just disapprove other's opinion and correct them, it make you looks like least respect that I had seen.

Everyone has different views on Obama, some people said he's not socialist and some people said he's socialist, also it doesn't means you are right.

Who cares about freedom of speech, your point is moot, anyway.

i never said i was right.

Do you think he will keep his promises ?

As for me, I don't think he will keep his promises. He can't make his promises to keep promise. His decisions are not followin' through to keep his promises. He thinks of somethin' else to change his promises, thinkin' that somethin' else is better. Really, he don't know what he's doin' ... this world is too BIG for him to THINK of what is the first thing should come first.... or should he chose the last thing to come first ?

Yeah, I think he'll keep his promises. He hasn't made any decisions yet as President. He is taking the steps he sees necessary to prepare to keep the proomises he made as a candidate.

One cannot go from step one to step ten, Maria. They have to complete two-nine before the process is complete. You seem to expect that change happens immediately. Given the mess that Obama has stepped into, thanks to the admisistration of the past eight years, change will take time. And he most certainly cannot institute change before he has officially taken office.

:laugh2: i don't know why people these days like to say "socialism/socialist" when they get angry and funny thing is... they don't even know exactly what socialism is!!! It's like in 1940's when people got angry for nothing and pointed at people with "different opinion" - YOU COMMIE BASTARD!

btw - socialism is NOT about more government "support" to help people. You are gravely mistaken about that. Please research for yourself. it's not hard.

and we had surplus national budget under Clinton Administration and because of that - we had more financial assistance. and now? good luck.... Like I said - PAY YOUR TAX. YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. DON'T BE A DOMESTIC DISSENT.

no kidding.

obama has been called a socialist so many times it isn't even funny -- although i'm sure he enjoys a good laugh out of it just the same.
