It's about what he going to change whatever you're complain or praise

I know he isn't in office until next Tuesday. Or is that Wed? Anyway....

Now... Now, the first thing I'm complain. Obama want to postpone on DTV to end analog by Feb to other time. Their admin support his ideal.

Obama Supports Postponing DTV to June - WSJ.com

Remember his famous quote
"Yes, we can change!"

Yet, we're stick with old technology! Sure, they have problem with money to give away the coupon of voucher to get DTV conversation box. I'm simple to ask that people need to wake up. DTV been exist more than 2 years ago! To tell you, if it's seriously ponepost until June, more tax waste.

I don't agree with Obama's idea but congresses are suppose to give more funds to DTV program.

Do you think he will keep his promises ?

As for me, I don't think he will keep his promises. He can't make his promises to keep promise. His decisions are not followin' through to keep his promises. He thinks of somethin' else to change his promises, thinkin' that somethin' else is better. Really, he don't know what he's doin' ... this world is too BIG for him to THINK of what is the first thing should come first.... or should he chose the last thing to come first ?

uh... name me any President who kept many promises. As long as the President kept one big promise..... that's all I care about.

how can you say these things when obama isn't even in office yet?

:laugh2:

NO president has ever kept all of their promises.

guys,

let's wait and see how obama does during the first 6-12 months. if he doesn't fulfill his promises, then you have every right to complain. give him a chance...

Doesn't matter. He still opens his mouth.

Name one what he keeps one big promise, if you really care ? :hmm:

Accountability. :cool2: beside... we won't know until he finishes his term... then we'll know if he kept the promise or not.

Some of my Complaints: His socialistic tax proposals from his campaigning that he's still planning to stand by (people that don't try to work get 'rebate' and those that work hard get more taxes against them), and one of the biggest ones is his heavier taxing of capital gains (for example, if you are lucky enough to make any money in the stock market, it goes to the government instead of your bank account; I won't even mention if you won the lottery). I also cannot forget to mention the fact that he plans to increase taxes on any small business with income over $250,000, which means even the local mom-and-pop-store (like the small children's furniture store I worked at for 9 years) will be even more overtaxed. We're all in trouble, and the controversy over at least 5 of his cabinet picks so far proves that further.

There's also Guantanamo Bay, more defense cuts likes Clinton did (cut military by about 65%+), pay-to-play-Chicago-politics (and I grew up in Chicagoland for 27 years before Obama was elected to state senate and I decided enough was enough..... can you say Carol Mostly-Fraud {aka: Carol Moseley Braun}, Richard Daley father and son, etc etc). There's also the Fact that he's already broken half of his promises from his election campaign even though he's not even in office yet.

Oh yeah, we also can't forget that even his own runningmate, VP-Elect Joe Biden, expects the US to be attacked again within the first 6 months of their rule.......

While I didn't vote for him, can't stand his lies and 'promises', I still can only hope for his administration to succeed, because congress (which is mostly the same as the last 4 years when things have gone to shit, now only worse with the recently increased liberal bias as well as the same old hated members) is still who's really in charge, and their members like Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Christopher Dodd, and Harry Reid got this country into the mess it is in in the first place.

I pray for Obama to succeed.

uh.... is that what we're suffering right now? remember? bail-out? riches flying in their private jets to Congress?

True, but what about the fact that he's breaking campaign promises before he's even elected? Think back on Bush Sr.'s second election; everyone said he broke his promise about 'no new taxes' (but congress 'forced' a tax increase) and therefore voted for Clinton who also said he wouldn't tax, yet within his first 3 months in office he initiated one of the largest tax increases in history. Also, Obama has already started breaking his campaign promises and he's not even in office yet.

because that's what happens when you have all the facts gathered to you as President-elect that were not available to you as Presidential candidate. he's not necessary breaking the promises. he's just re-prioritizing the promises based on the info given to him. We'll know for sure if he broke the promise or not AFTER he's done being the President.

beside - I don't understand why people are bitching about taxes. if everybody doesn't want to pay tax, then there's no America. If economy's good, we'll get a nice reward for it. if not - well no point in arguing about tax, huh?

Oh, are you talking about the automotive industry's leaders a few months back? I don't see how that can be blamed on the country's administration, and in fact the administration harshly rebuked them for doing so. The bailout is a 'rush-job' of a needed solution...... granted I admit it's not a good solution, but it was the democrats in the single-digit-approval-rating-congress that were trying to add all kinds of BS into the bailout (why it failed the first go-thru, and should have failed the second).

irregardless... it's under Bush Administration and it happens on his watch.

point #1: obama is not a socialist. republicans have been claiming this ad nauseum ever since the election started. give it up.

point #2: so what if joe biden expects that the u.s. will be attacked by terrorists during the first 6 months of obama's presidency? what's new? this has been happening for years. it should come as no surprise.
