Working or volunteering overseas

Has anyone had experience working or volunteering overseas?

I'm looking into it - be it volunteering at a Deaf school in a developing country (Nepal for example), camp counselor at a Deaf summer camp in the USA (Camp Mark 7 for example), or as an aupair/nanny somewhere in the world.

I may not be of help, but volunteering at a Deaf School in another country sounds AMAZING. I would love to volunteer overseas!

From what I can see, service for deaf people are much, much greater in big cities than rural areas of USA. I would imagine that the same is true outside USA.

3rd and 4th World countries need help much more than USA does in Deaf Community. I've not volunteered outside USA. If you do, the best luck. Enjoy!!
