Yummy!!

I had beef, chicken and pork through the week.

Even had a plate of liver and onions.

i'm sorry, but i can't stand liver and onions. however, my first boyfriend LOVED it.

I try to eat it at least once a month because I lean toward anemia. It is a great source of iron.

Just a side note: I know there are two forms of iron 1) HEME form (Readily absorbable, found in meats, especially fish 2) Non-HEME form (Not-readily absorbable, found in beans, far lesser amounts in veggies.

You are absolutely correct. I also eat iron rich beans and legumes and green leafy veggies like spinich. Iron supplements mess with my stomach big time, so I try to manage it through diet.

I'm already vegan. I wish you the best of luck in educating people about the cruelty that goes on in meat consumsion.

The cruelty is very sad. It is possible for food animals to be treated humanely.
