Windows 10 will be a free upgrade from Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 ... only with a catch. You must get the upgrade from the time it gets released later this year *to* the end of the year (Dec 31st, 2015).
So, if you have Windows 7 and above *and * want Windows 10, get it before the end of this year.
Also, I heard Office 2016 will be released this year as well, and WIndows Server "10" (2016?).
