Why is it difficult to get good deaf friends?

I have tried to talk to many deaf people wherever I go to deaf events like deaf church, deaf chat coffee, etc but I barely have got good deaf friends, I mean close good deaf friends. Does it happen to y'all? Like to talk to many and many deaf people out there but not good close friends? Is there anything that I can do better? Any ideas?

Good friends aren't hard to find, but "close" good friends, now that's a different story. I think you'll have better luck if you try to find someone who has some things in common with you.
