Amazing! I have never been to a NASCAR race. The only race was the monster trucks, they are LOUD!

Promise to not get upset???? A friend won the tickets in a lottery drawing...and he WINS every thing so...he won them but had plans/conflict so he offered to give to me since I have NEVER been there. Asked me and I said SURE!!! We only paid 8 bucks for (2) 20 oz soda bottles. Tickets was free...and we got free shuttle ride bands (came with tickets) so it was pretty sweet. I will not BUY tickets because the tickets we got..it was 83 dollars each ticket!!!!!! Ouch!! At least we got to experience it and say "I finish taste/touch NASCAR"

Aw sheesh!! I wish I could go there!! I only live 10 min from there via I-435!! (My wife, kids and I usually go to Legends and Cabelas sometime.) Friend of mine told me that they went to NASCAR race, they got tickets from their father who had extras.

Lucky!!

Damn, I had no idea how much it cost to go there, yikes!

KC Speedway is nice. Did you get to stop by the cabelas next to it?

I actually got to be in the middle of the action in the garages and such back then when it just opened, good times.

are you actually hearing the noise or are you feeling it? i am stone deaf but need ear plugs when shooting guns because it can hurt the inner ear. it is the same for me with most really loud noises so i get confused if i am actually hearing them or feeling them in my ears

I'm deaf. Have you been to the drag strip race like Pro Stock to Top Fuel before?

Usually I saw it was about $94 a seat but If you want closer to race track, it'll runs from $200 to $400 Yike

I tried to pull info of ticket pricing but realized that pre-purchase ticket for Kansas Speedway was over.

I would LOVE to go but $$$. :ugh:

I've been Cabelas several times. There are Bass Pro shop on 119th St and I-35. It's about 20 min drive between two "competitors".

I went to Skagit Speedway in Washgton last summer and It was fun and loud. Dirt flying over like a rain where we sat. We all decide to move away from it, luckily I brought sweatshirt with hood so I cover it with hood but leaving my glasses exposed so I can watch

I've been in Truck Pull and Monster Truck race in Kemper Arena in KC many years ago. It was SO loud cuz the Arena was enclosed and I can feel my body shake every time tractor start pulling (it felt like I had huge vibrator on my back). I was with my brother and were at upper-middle level seating and still so loud. My brother told me let's go down to first row because not many people there. We went down for close up and it was dang louder than up there but the security guy escort us out of the area and we returned back to our original seat grrr!!

No wonder why the loud noise were muffed inside the Arena that explained more louder than NASCAR. Sound exact as Top Fuel drag race when I walked on the side in front of the grandstand. You will feel what your body get (like something impact your body) when the Top Fuel drag race cars in tires warm up and launch. Real louder. Like someone messages your back and make you feel good. I enjoyed ur post.:thumb:

Haha, someone who race a top fuel dragster described how it feels like driving one. He said that it feels like a semi truck hitting you from behind at 60 mph and the g-force push you forward from zero to 60 in no time. Ouch. They can go from zero to 320 mph in only 3.6 seconds, gulp.
