This is not far from John Muir Park and the town I grew up on. This is historical downtown area and the historical John Muir house couple miles away.
 
I cant post the picture of long island.. It is not a big city but suburban houses and beaches.

Yes they are working. The area is not a huge one like city.. Most of houses, beaches, and stores, not look like a big city..

Where I grew up, went to beaches all the time.

this one is only 15 minutes away from my old hometown.

The road called, Jericho turnpike, where the popular stores or bars were where lots of people hang out there.

but those pictures are my old memory, not current. lol
 
The town I grew up in was a small gulf side community in Florida. Near the town square, there was a little lake/pond and each year they would hold a fishing competition and the kid that caught the biggest fish would win a prize. It was usually just a banana split.
