Romeo, Romeo where art thou Romeo,

Down here my Juliet, but I hear thou not
Thou must descend if answers are sought.
First you must profess the depth of your love
If I am to descend from my balcony above.

Dare I compare thee to a summer’s night?
Wet windy and yet not very bright
Doth thou think I’d be here at this ungodly hour
If I had not harboured hopes of taking your flower.

Wait, as thou knows, tis but a leap year
Allowing me to ask the words to utter thou fears
My beloved there is something I need to ask
On a bended knee I need be for the task.

Oh my beloved Romeo will thou be mine?
Alas my dear Juliet it’s half past nine
Her look of hope now one of defeat
Time for thee to make a hasty retreat.

Over my shoulder I cast a nervous glance
And tomorrow again with freedom I dance
