one of my favorite parables i read in the lords of darkness novel
is called the lamp
when a wise man was describing a deformed young girl and the beauty he saw in her.
He said
In each and every person the soul burns like a bright flame in a lamp
so do not point out the flaws and the ill making of the lamp
for if the the soul is pure and clean it shines with blinding beauty
so can one truly see the flaws with such a light shining in their eyes?
