On Saturday, May 2nd, the Tennessee Hillbilly Deaf Club will be holding a workshop in association with the Knoxville Center of the Deaf and Disability Law & Advocacy about doctors refusing to provide interpteters presented by Burke Brewer, Advocate.

if you dont bring cover dish the enter is $5.00. If you do bring cover dish, the enter is free.

Picnic lunch will start at 11:45 am EDT and workshop will be at 1:00 pm

I will be there at the picnic (as long as I dont get caught oversleeping lol)
 
They don't have the picnic held in the Harriman/Rockwood area now?

I was kind of looking forward attending the picnic in Harriman on the 1st Saturday of May. :(

they just moved it over to KCD for May, but maybe the picnic will go back to rockwood/harriman for June.

Ah okay. Maybe in June, I will go up there. Just curious here, do the deaf still have the thing going on at the West Town mall and bowling alley in north/east Knoxville on the first Fridays of every month?
 
Will there be a hoedown? Just need to make sure so I can bring my jugs.
