At least the Sheriff's office is doing it right. They're willing to cover the damaged fees for this man. Still, they need more trainings to handle situations.
 
Glad to see Sheriff's office made things right with the resolution and their insurance covered to replace the teenager's CI.
 
Was the insurance funded by taxpayers? If so, I wouldn't support that case since the CI is a completely failure.

I don't get why you are saying the CI is a complete failure. The CI did not fail — the external parts just came off when he fell after being tased. He had gotten it so recently that he was still in the early days of rehab to learn to hear with it and did not understand the officer's instructions before he was tased..
 
And its the Sheriff's Department's insurance company that is covering the cost, not really the taxpayers'.
