Tattoo Thread

Here's Sarah Churman, the gal who got her implantable hearing aid and her YouTube video went viral, on the upcoming The Learning Channel show, NY Ink. If you pause the video you can see partially what her next tattoo is like. Video is not captioned though not the intent here to watch the whole sneak peak clip but to show her tattoo being worked on.

I LOVE body mod! I have three tattoos, and for my birthday, Audiodef gave me the money for a fourth. I have two or three more beyond that that I am planning.

Has anyone gotten Airbrush Tattoos? Are you able to tell the difference from a real tattoo? I've read the technology is so good it looks the same, but is not permanent.

this thread is for people who have tattoos and want to share pics.

i don't have a tattoo yet, but i would love to get a few soon. one on my back and one on the back of neck. i'm not sure what kind of designs, but i want them to be unique and have a meaning behind them.

for my back- can't decide between a gun with flowers coming out of it and a poem in french

for the back of my neck- a phrase/saying in italian

post your tattoo pics here, i would love to see them :)

I have one. I'm thinking of getting my second one. My tattoo guy says not to have to much detail in them (I.E. Wings,Coi fish etc.) He says because eventually they will collide and ruin the image.

Got tattoos? Show us your ink!!

I just got one a few hours ago :D In case you can't read it clearly it says....
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Christopher Robin says this to Whinnie the Pooh. Not that I'm some rabid pooh fan, but I love the message and it means a lot to me after what I've gone through in my life and especially why I stayed with my husband for far longer than I should have. It's my reward for leaving him :D

Now show me your ink!! it doesn't have to meaningful, lawdy lawdy do I have ones that I want covered up lol, but they can be fun, pretty scarey whatever. You got it flaunt it!!

Nice quote, but tattoo on my body? No thanks. :)

Ahh but that's the beauty of tattoos, they are very individual. What means something to one person doesn't mean the same to another, and not all tattoos are for decoration ;) This wasn't an impulsive decision. I've been thinking about it for 9 months. I had been going through some petty serious and life altering stuff and had been hemming and hawing about what I was going to do about it. I saw this quote on face book, naturally I had seen it as a child, but it really struck a chord in me, hell I broke down and cried, it was exactly what I needed to hear, needed to believe. It got me to stop hemming and hawing, and I never want to ever forget again.
