Hello folks,

I was considering to upgrade to Sprint U301 3G/4G for my laptop/netbook but I have a question for you. Do Sprint offer WiMax coverage for Washington DC area? If not, when?

Thanks,
Sword7

America is a big country, it takes time to get these up and running.

Hey, I live in Fairfax, VA.. and I can confirmed that I was testing out EVO at my local Sprint store, it said 4G on the top.. it is receiving from Baltimore. 0_0 3 bars... pretty fast. :D

Check your city for coverage of 4G network.

Sprint - Nationwide Coverage

not yet launch 4G network in Washington DC.

I really don't depend on the "coverage" of 4G Network from certain provider. The coverage map sometime is old, or I have no idea when it is last updated. I mostly google it and get reliable resource from people or Tech news.

So.....

but far less population than USA.

300 millions vs. 20 millions.
22 million to be accurate and yes, that's correct. U.S is more bigger than Australia.

In a matter of fact, Australia is the biggest island in the world.

Australia is continent, the smallest in the world.

Greenland is the largest island.
