Position: VRS Interpreter
Sorenson Video Relay Service (VRS) is seeking professional interpreters to work at the Sorenson VRS Call Center in Salt Lake City, Utah and in regional call centers. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services. Both full and part-time positions are available.
Qualifications:
* Ability to effectively communicate in American Sign Language (ASL)
* 5-10 years working experience as a certified sign language interpreter in a variety of settings
* NAD Level IV/V or RID: CI, CT, CI/CT CSC or possession of a Utah Master Level Interpreter Certification
* Excellent voicing skills and a good understanding of the deaf culture
* Experience with video interpreting preferred
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position: VRS Installer
Sorenson Video Relay Service (VRS) is seeking professional installers to assist deaf and hard-of-hearing customers with installing the Sorenson VP-100 videophone and/or Sorenson EnVision SL video relay software. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting networking issues and training customers on how to place a video relay call. This is a contract position.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the deaf culture
* Ability to report service related issues and interface with the Sorenson VRS Support Department
* Must be familiar with all technical aspects of installing Sorenson VRS products including networking, router configurations, and firewall issues
* Bachelor's degree; preferred technical or science background
* Ability to effectively communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
