I played Rubik's Cube before, but can't remember if I got anything matched.
I've played with the 3x3 and 4x4 versions of the Cube, but don't ever recall solving them. After I saw the video, I was (and still am) tempted to buy the 3x3 version and learn the algorithms to speedily solve it. However, I wouldn't ever be able to do what the guy did in the video.
