1. What does Mr. Master mean by "clay"? What is the danger of being clay?

2. What does Mr. Master mean by "rock"? How does a person become a rock?

Clay - you can be shapened by others
Rock - don't let others make you something you don't want to be

(purely guesses as I do not now who Mr. Master is).

The closest I could ever guess, and this is from memory folks, so if I butcher it, eh, I tried.

Could be the whole Prometheus/Pandora/Epimetheus thing from mythology.

If I remember right it was man made out of clay, then Zeus got bent because of fire and everything kind of went off the rails from there till the wheels fell off.

Mr Master: Zeus, had to be
Clay: Man, but no strength
Rock: Man after fire given to him by Prometheus, thus power

Or it could by the lyrics to some crappy ass song from 70's I never heard too, don't know

I took my best shot at it.

Wild guess...#1. ....maybe meaning that anyone can be molded out of clay, hence changing their way of thinking/belief/acting/being.....by a superior Master...."Have thine own way....you are the Potter...I am the Clay."...But being molded out of Clay, can be subject to change.

#2 .... "Rock"....Being molded out of Rock, rock solid...no way of change/belief/acting/being....:hmm:
