Sooo, someone told me that they've seen President Obama being referred to in one of two ways, and I can't remember the exact sign/s, but it was something like:

A 'B' sign moving towards an ear (but not in 'deaf' way).

An 'O' sign that, and pardon, I don't remember the rest, but that person said (well, typed) that the mouth makes like an O formation.

But then when I looked it up, I found this.

I'm sorry, but I took the other two potential signs as signs that also marked his appearance. I mean, hello?

Barack? Ears?

Obama? Skinny guy?

So my question is: Was I seeing things that weren't there?

:ty: and apologizes for not having the informant's exact quotes.

As I understand it, the one that mimics his logo is the most widely recognized. However, another school of thought says that it is disrespectful to refer to a dignitary with a name sign and that it is more appropriate to sign PRESIDENT and then fingerspell the name.
