Hi, I am writing a book and I need some advice. I am going to write about this rich kid who life seems perfect, but as the protagonist learns more about him, we learn that he sees being Deaf in one ear as a flaw and his parents don't let him get a hearing aid or learn ASL and as the story progresses he becomes more and more open and learns that his Deafness is not much as a flaw but more as a part of him. I wanted to make sure that I was going to potray him in a realistic way, do you guys have any thoughts/opinions? Thanks!
