To each their own - there's nothing wrong with wanting HAs that blend in with your hair or skin tones. But I'd love hearing aids that feel a little more fun to me. Blue, or purple? Has anyone found colorful options in any hearing aids that are made for adults?

I'm wondering if you could varnish them like with nail varnish, only coloured one I could find are for juniors, just a crazy idea but if you mess them up, don't blame me.

There is nothing to keep you from getting one that is advertised for kids. They are just grouped together on the manufactures site because they think they will sell more of the colorful ones if they are grouped together and thus easy for parents to find all of them when looking for their kid(s).

When I got my first BTE HA, it was one that I believe was marketed to kids. It was a blue one. I was so glad that colors had come out when it was time for me to wear BTE's. Since then I've had other ones that were blue or with blue. I now have CIs and they also come in great colors, including blue and purple. I'm wearing a dark blue right now, but am looking forward to getting a more vibrant blue when I can upgrade in a few years. The pretty color ones are marketing towards kids (they also have special kids programming options), but many adults have ordered the kids ones w/o the special programming because they want the "stand out" colors.
