new very different tires for better gas

One good point of those tires could be that the temperature doesn't mean so much.
Wide low profile tires doesn't work properly, if they were filled with air. In a hot day the air pressure might be optimal, but when it begins to rain and the temperature is lower, then it's possible that wide tyres got a water pillow under them. So have to use nitrogen in wide low profile tyres.
With plastic tyres you don't have that kind of problem. I think?

What about on icy roads , I am not sure I would to drive around in New England winters on plastic tires.
In wintertime they might get imbalanced very easy with ice and snow. Some rims doesn't work properly either.

as long the tires pressure is balanced it would be very effective on gas mileage get better

I wondered if Plastic tires or called "tweels". My concerns that if road is wet or icy, Plastic would slips easily than rubber tires.
