Hi! As my 40th birthday looms in the distance. I have reverted back to childhood and for the past 3 years, I have been getting bad ear infections in both years that the doctor can't seem to stop. I have had about 7 or 8 in each ear the past three years. We tried tubes in my ears (yes as an adult) and yielded little results. The doctor recommended a hearing test after my last double infection because I told him everything sounded muffled. I was told I have a bilateral hearing loss. My right ear is worse than my left. Hearing aids have been suggested, but the doctor suggests that it may get worse if they can't stop the infections. It's been an emotional few days. Just looking for some support.
