Need advice on the Phonak Roger!

I’ve got the Roger Pen which I use regularly throughout the day. Just today I streamed from it from 9.30am to 8.15pm. I use it a lot.

What I want to know is, is it best for me to use up the battery completely and then charge it or to charge it when you get the first low battery warning?!

I want the Pen to last me a long time so don’t want to damage it.

What do others do with their Roger Transmitter, it doesn’t need to be the Pen?!
 
I think today's batteries do not need to be run down to extend their lives. I put my ComPilot on the charger whenever I'm not wearing it (which is most of the time now that I have my CIs). I charge my Pen and Select before they die so that they're alive when I need them

How does the rodger work. I looked at this today but i am unsure what its full purpose is.
