I am Hard of Hearing loosing my hearing ast enough that I will be deaf in 2 years. I also own a construction company in Las Vegas, NV. I am in need of two workers that are Had of Hearing or Deaf. I know sign and it will be easy to communicate as we work each day. The pay is in 9 to 10 dollars an hour.
You have to have a background in construction know how to use power tools like drills and saws. This job is open immediatly. I will go into depth on the description of the job to who ever is interested. Email me at LanceLedet@aol.com.
Thank you
Lance

Eh? Only $9 to $10 an hour working a risky and dangerous job?

I know a lot of deaf people who get paid $12 to $15 to sit around.

That is not a good paying job for what it does. It should be $12-13 a hour to start with construction experience.

$9 - $10/HR in Las Vegas, are you kidding me? I am sure those janitors in casino get better pay than that.

I get paid more than that and I work on a computer most of the time.
That's what I mean. :)

I would rather sit in an office making $15 to $20 an hour sitting at my desk working on the computer than to stand around in the hot sun risking my life with the dangers of heavy machinery and equipment for $10 per hour.

Not anymore, most jobs are offered mimium wage nowdays thank to bad encomy and everyone is desprate to find any job even with low paying job.

Was at Vegas recently....looked like a lot of construction projects were either put on hold or abandonded due to the bad economy there.

Ouch! rip off! We are hire and paying deaf person with 30.00 per hour for installing at my friend's new fence soon! When He need hire someone for contruction workers He would paying 15 to 30 per hours! but your .. :shake head:

It is better than no job. :dunno2:

True.. but I just talked with my man about this... He laughs! ( He is working construction, welding and logging for 20 years also we have own liable insurance)

He said... 9 to 10 dollars is good for inexperience workers.. If the experience worker earns 9 dollars per hour but reduced to about 6 to 7 dollars per hour because paying to tax, state, health ins, liable ins and others!

My friends working at deaf group home and earn 13 per hour! :eek3:
