IMHO, hearing parents need to be VERY careful with homeschooling dhh or other special needs kids, since they are generally not trained TODs.  It really does take a village.  It's not an attack on homeschooling... My ex friend's mom (who is a terp) said that if her girls had been dhh, she would have sent them to a deaf school, and Nancy was one of those hippie unschooler parents. There are a ton of resources.....and if you're a Christian homeschooler, there are even two Christian Deaf Schools.</p></blockquote><p></p>
