Hi, my name is Kelly. I have been Woking as an interpreter at a community college in San Diego for the last 25 years. I will be moving back to Salem within the next 2 years. I grew up in Oregon and volunteered at the Deaf residential school for my 4 years of high school. I want to start making connections with the Deaf community before I move. I looked online and I was not able to find anything about the Deaf community except organizations that are run by the government. Any advice would be so appreciated. I look forward to connecting with my new community!
