iPhone help?

Hello, I apologize if it has been talked to death about...

My fiance is considering of getting iPhone. I have SK2 (5 years old, and still works perfectly), and I will upgrade to his SK if he decides to get the iPhone.

However, we're curious if there a plan that is ONLY data. Obviously I cannot hear on the phone, and he hardly ever gets any calls on his SK, hence why he pays for two data plan only.

We've looked on the web, and it said that it's $30 for data plan, THEN it's additional $40 for using the phone. There is no option to "no voice plan".

That seems a little expensive for only ONE month for one phone.

We don't want to get BB because our SK works perfect, and knock on wood, we haven't had any issues for the last 5 years.

Let me know if iPhone plans are Deaf Friendly.

yes there are, i think like 45 dollars, TAP plan, i may be wrong

$ 50 TAP plan for iPhone

$ 30 TAP plan for any PDA except Blackberry.

AT&T has two different price on iphone.
Original iPhone (older model) cost me $40 per mo.
New iPhone model cost $50 per mo.

AT&T's TAP does not offer special price on Blackberry.
Spirint Relay Store offer BB for $30 per mo

I own original iphone. I do not have any data plan. Just look for free wifi.
My suggest... to grab ipod "Touch" or netbook.
