IDIOMS in asl

Hello,:hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm:
I am taking ASL 1.
I have a few questions.
idioms
When Tim walked in Jack gave her (THE COLD SHOULDER).
WHAT DOES the cold shoulder idiom?

one more :
I get a (KICK OUT OF) watching my aunt play basketball.
KICK OUT OF IDIOM?

There are more expert ASL users here than I am, but I do know that idioms are unique expressions in one language that cannot translate word-for-word. So you have to focus on trying to express the IDEA, more than the specific words.

So "when Tim walked in, Jack gave him cold shoulder" I would sign as something like "Tim walk in, jack ignore him" with a snotty facial expression for ignore.

For "I get a kick out of watching my aunt play basketball" I would sign something along the lines of "my aunt play basketball, I enjoy watch"
 
"cool" is right hand like "5", palm facing left, thumb on sternum, and wiggle your index through pinky.
