i sit and stare
at these walls
that are bare,
with an empty heart
and a broken soul.
wounded and worn,
ripped and torn
with nothing earthbound
to fill the gaping hole.
i stand alone.
suffering in silence
with internal violence.
living in light
but wilting in darkness.
i stand alone.
not depressed
just sad.
upset, not mad
nor crazy
nor ill.
homesickness screams
with a voice so shrill,
but its nothing that
can be fixed with a
simple pop of a pill.
if i cant come home
just grant me a visit.
ur god, it aint too hard now,
is it?
and when im there
tell me u love me
and call me your son
and then maybe
just maybe
i wont feel so alone.
 
Aww AJ, what wrong?...Quite a sad poem there :hug:
 
That's quite deep and heavy....hopefully this poem doesn't refer to 'you' bud. If so...you know where to 'reach' me. ;)

That is a nicely written poem. I'm sorry you're feeling that way. I know how it feels to want your father's love. My real father chose drugs over his only daughter. I read your other post "Letter to God" and I can see you're going through a rough time. You don't know me but I just wanted to say everything will be looking up soon. Just hang in there and if you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm here.
 
Please have someone stay with u till ur feeling better. Should not be home and be alone at this time.
