24 inch monitor at 1920x1200. hehe Plus my awesome old card that runs like a dream.

I know what 1920x1080 is, btw. Being a smartass. I've built my share of computers.

Windows 8 doesn't have Aero.

Oh, I forgot to tell you... Are you saying that W7 OS sleep mode is broken? Did you unmark it yet? My sleep mode is fine.

I tried it but still broken.

I'm on W8 - same as W7.

Must be something do with hardware... I remember having same issue with old PC and one day, I upgraded something (can't remember what) and then it started to work properly.
