How Far Can 'Medical Tourism' Go?

Yup, I agree that America medical cost is overpriced. They all don't care about your health but profits from you!

The more they go for profit than care, patient will go overseas for cheaper medical services.

Uncle Sam is blind on this one, sad because Uncle Sam is sleeping with these medical executives.

We have a long way to go...

"For example, in 2006, OIG reported that Medicare had allowed, on average, $7,215 for the rental of an oxygen concentrator that costs about $600 to purchase new. Additionally, beneficiaries incurred, on average, $1,443 in coinsurance charges. We determined that if home oxygen payments were limited to 13 months rather than the current 36 months, Medicare and its beneficiaries would save $3.2 billion over 5 years."
