I am Chris. 
I live in the middle of nowhere (Joplin, MO). I am HoH. A year after high school is when I first noticed hearing loss and 20 some years later I am losing what's left of it. The tests done over the years show a progressive loss and the doctors have no explanation for it. I do know some ASL, enough to embarrass myself if I’m not conscious of what I’m doing. I’m grateful for the hearing I do have/had. I look forward to learning more ASL and hopefully finding some nearby friends.
