In June, I watched Rachel Shenton's short film The Silent Child which motivated me to pick up sign language. I learned BSL before switching to ASL. I am a hearing person who loves cats, occasionally plays chess, and watches period movies. I find sign language really fun! I can't wait to make new friends here and understand more about deaf and hoh culture :).

Btw, I'm looking for an ASL study buddy. Do hit me up if you're interested (you could be deaf, hoh, or new to ASL like me)
