Hearing Girl Planning On Going To College For Interpretation.

Hey guys! I'm new here and wanted to tell you guys a little bit about myself.
I'm a small-town girl from upstate New York who is working towards becoming an ASL/PSE interpreter. In my town we have a handful of deaf and hard of hearing people that communicate through sign language and I've always been fascinated by it.
My mother taught me basic sign language when I was younger but we never kept up with it and I eventually lost it.
I've read plenty of textbooks but I am hoping that by joining an online community, I'll be able to get some better experiences than what my books can offer me.
