Good news from Sprint for Deaf and HOH

T-mobile will lost many deaf customer. Hehehe.

CDMA (Sprint and Verizon) is better coverage in USA.

GSM...*cough*

What about in NYC subway?

In LA subway, it does work on SK3.

Yes. Right. In Washington DC metro area, subway (tunnels) has CDMA coverage (no GSM coverage).

Tim

If you want to use it in other countries, most use GSM. If you only stay in US than CDMA is fine.

yes i agree that. i am kinda world traveler so i better keep GSM mobiles.

to my knowledge from my research, there is 75% of GSM coverage in the world and 25% of CDMA coverage in the world. correct me if i am wrong. :pissed:

sorry if it is off topic...

Incorrect. Australia have CDMA fully implemented and rolled out. Several carriers are using the 3.5G (CDMA 2000) technology. Most asian and european countries have CDMA as well

So its safe to bring CDMA phones elsewhere and make sure the international roaming is enabled.

that is what i thought that CDMA is pretty aggressive to increase its coverages in the world. :)

Hi everyone!

Wonderful news to hear finally we changed SMS/TEXT to unlimited!

We now are offering Blackberry 8703e for only $99.99 (After $100 mail-in rebate). It comes with an unlimited data plan for only $29.99 per month with a 2 years subscriber agreement.

AND
blah blah blah

are you even human?? You post both are pretty same after 30 minutes.

Interesting. I had heard so many complaints about them not working overseas. Things change fast!

Is there any way we can mark these advertisements?
Maybe make some kind of rule that they need to say "advertisement" in the thread title or something.

While that's a one of the better prices I've seen for an unlimited data plan and a blackberry, its not good news, it an advertisement. big difference.

Unlimited SMS/Text Messaging That is GREAT!

I use text message alot to talk with my two sons from my sidekick3. I become unhappy with my SK3 because of radio becomes slow and stop when the weather was not very good. I became frustration because I can't send my messages to blackberry or emails. They got my message 6 to 10 hours later. Grrrrr

I had to restart my pager 3 times then the message was sending out. *sigh*

I just got my SK3 last summer. I would wait one more year to running out my contactor then get blackberry. I am not sure what is GSM looking like?

I have a question.....Ok I look at two different blackberry which is 8700g and 8705g. I notice 8705g has intel inside. 8700g don't. which is better?. There have any pro and con about between 8700g and 8705g?.

I got my blackberry love it very much! Thank you sprintrelay!!!

Hmmm. Two weeks ago, I submitted my order to Sprint Relay Store but they take so long to process it. Last monday (a week later), I finally received an order confirmation but it had not being shipped yet. Also I saw a charge on my credit card account when I checked them online. That must be so busy due to rebates, ads or so.

Thanks,
Tim

They are the same, including intel processor, except that hthe 8705g has hearing aid compatibility. There is no other difference between them.

Ummh! sound very interesting!! I will keep it in mind. I would rather have Blackberry w/ camera. IF that be the case, I would run out and get it and kiss my old and worn sk2 bye bye (it'll be my "musem" pieces along w/ T-900 and color SK1 Rofl). Plus I would love to have PAM connection to my lappy at work!! Make my co worker drool (xcuse me wipe ur drool off!!). I guarantee that they'll asking for web access. No Porno please!

There already are Blackberry's with cameras and more new ones on the way. They're not part of Sprint's current offer, but I'll bet they will be someday soon.
