Glide ids for people wanting to practice

The Students looking for ASL Buddies thread is getting a little too long. And seems like there is an influx of new people wanting to learn. If anyone wants to do this, post your Glide ID. I'll add you to my Glide and I'll try to make a group chat so we can all practice together.

Message me and I'll add you. When you message, make sure you indicate that you're from here. I get way too many requests from other people that I'm pretty sure are porn sites. So just state that you're from AD so I can know who I'm adding.
 
I don't understand this thread since the OP said he is maxed out already on glide requests. What was the point? Who cares how long the ASL Buddies thread is? We've seen worse.

I didn't say that I was maxed out on Glide requests. I said the current group that I practice with is full. You can only have 50 per group. I can easily start a new group.

The current thread is old and it's difficult to determine who is currently looking to practice and who isn't. I'm attempting to be more current and see who would want to actively be in a group now. Though, AC, thanks for your input. I'm starting to find your trademark negativity comforting. Hugs and kisses.

Why snub the other thread? It was in perfect working order and exactly what you were looking for. Also, I thought full means maxed out?

Only one group is full. Not the entire system of Glide. You can start multiple groups and can have up to 50 per group. The other group that I practice with is full. That doesn't, however, mean that I can't start a 2nd group and add up to 50 members in that group.

The other post was made by DeafNerdMommy basically offering to help teach people. I imagine with her new boy, she's a little busy now. So I made a new post so that it was clear that anyone could ask to be added and that it was for practicing with each other, not really teaching. I also don't want to add people individually to my Glide and only practice one on one. This is for a group chat so that anyone could post to the group and anyone could respond back.

If you think it's unnecessary, ok. I was just trying to be clearer in my intentions and that's why I made a post on my own.
 
I think it is great he started a new thread. Mine was more of talking about glide and yes I am so tired of people added me on glide and expecting me to help them. I did help so people which was fun and great but then I was flooded by people. I am super busy right now and lysander is doing me a huge favor in my opinion. So by all means have a who wants to learn on glide thread. :)
