My Unique Family
Fused Together
TV-G, CC

Meet the Walkers, a typical California family. But a closer look reveals that the Walkers suffer from Ectrodactyly Syndrome, a rare condition causing their fingers and toes to fuse together. See how the Walkers each deal with this condition differently.

Did anyone watch this last night on TLC? I thought it was cool to learn something new about it although I switched between the show and Law & Order SUV on USA network. I felt bad for the boy who said people usually shake him by the wrist, not his hand.

You know, it was a bit annoying when that waitress came up to them asking them about their hands but the mom showed a lot of patience. I guess the waitress learned something, and I hope she watched the TLC special to learn more about their perspectives and experiences. ;)

I did not see the show, but this syndrome is also known as Lobster Claw syndrome and can vary in the degree .
