Drive or take public transportation?

I drive, I live in the mountains. I didn't have a car for like 4 years though after ex fiance number 1 totalled it and moved back to Australia. Luckily I moved to NYC and London for a year but it sucked getting around where I live in the mountains with our shoddy excuse for public transportation. In Denver when I went back to school I took public transportation down to campus because it was included with tuition and traffic sucked but I drove to work.

Mainly drive as where I live it's not easy to get to stores etc without having to drive. They do have a public transportation system (I haven't tried it yet). When I was in Utah, necessity said I had to walk and take the bus/Trax everywhere. Didn't mind it so much (other than my feet still mad at me after 3 months).

Actually, I do still have driver license and yes, I can drive if I want but legal issue is one of significant issue for me, even if it is civil and criminal.

If low vision specialist tells you that you can drive, so follow their advice.

I have taken public transportation(light rail) in Portland, the system is excellent and does an excellent job of tying into the bus system. I have also taken the light rail in Sacramento, CA, again their system is excellent. Finally I have taken public transportation(light rail) in Santa Clara Co.. Their system is the worst of the three and I just read where it's the worst system in the U.S. and I could believe it. Their trains can be gone before they are even supposed to arrive and then you're stuck for about 30 minutes waiting for the next train to come by. I usually drive.

I have used bus because it is cheaper than owning driver

I prefer to drive than taking public transport.
I dislike a lot to be surrounded by people and I feel so much comfortable driving, so I can be on my own, let's say it's because you feel so much free and don't stick to a schedule.

I prefer to drive. I’m a very good driver. However, when I win the lottery, I’m hiring my own limo driver! :)

I prefer to drive too. :)
