Computer Viruses hit 1 million mark in 2007!

Geez yeah once hit my computer in 2007 grr...


what about 2008 ---- less or more?
 
Yes it hitted my computer is trojan horse in 2007. I work on it well...

This 2008 is Malware virus... :cold:

Malware virus is a dangerous virus than any trojans...

wow 1 million hit your computer like you saw dialog box at Norton Anti-Virus screen? you fed up hit "OK" on 1 million???? lousy Norton!

Wow, I got few viruses on my old PC with XP in 2007 and had recovery again with loss of data.

After security on Windows are become issue then I decided return to Mac again and not want pay or deal with anti-virus program, even McAfee don't performs so enough and won't remove an powerful viruses, same goes to Norton too, after that and removed all anti-virus from my PC to save utilize on CPU and RAM.

lol, yup, same goes to McAfee too.
 
In my opinion, botnets are not any kind of viruses/trojans. They may seem to be, but they are some kind of file that secretly starts up on your computer and is mainly used to take websites down, basically using up your internet connection along with others, many others. Some botnets can be infected, but most aren't.

I agree with you. I have same plm with it before. I spend lot of time to trying to solve the problem some of them are unsucessful. I missed my mac for long time then I decided to switch back to Mac and love it.

That's cool, I wish that Apple will sell consumer tower for consumers who don't need professional hardware like Mac Pro seems too professional to me, even I don't need Xeon.

In next month, I will get other customize computer desktop to replace iMac because I don't like how all in one works for me, however I keep MacBook Pro.
 
various virus programs are SUCKS!

rhr and Pacman, I loathed Norton and mcafee virus programs for many reasons. so I don't neeed to using the (anti-virus prgms) condom on HDD. ROFL!

How can you protect urself from Identity theif!? Keylogger, trojans ect can copy and steal your Credit card and personal information that you types Online to order something.

I wouldn't use it without antivirus in Micro$oft OS system cuz they're full of security holes...

There's few great anti-virus programs like kaspersky and MS OneCare.

I would use it when I want go in alot of untrust websites like weird and porn stuff under Windows.

For Mac, no anti-virus program needed, I can go in any different of websites, good or bad, thanks to unix.
 
I am not worry about virus. I do not install any anti-virus on my all computers.

Same goes for Linux... I did the same thing, order online, browse strange or funky website ect. No harm done.. My daughter use that to use Bebo.com and it's been going strong.

My lappy's XP always act funny after she visited Bebo.com. Even with antivirus installed, it just crappy. I had to reinstall XP OS and blocked out Bebo.com and told her to use Linux!!!! LOL. Now she decorated Linux desktop in her way..

Windoz craps out after visit few strange website and it's full of virus and spyware ect without antivirus and antispyware ect.. :rofl:

I can prevent the identity thief, I clean cache. THATS S-I-M-P-L-E! ;)

Keyloggers do not store in cache. It's actually small program with its own file which are hidden.. it can be transmitted via internet by hacker's pre-programmed command.

So wish you luck swimming in virtual net pool full of virus, trojan horses, spyware and you-know-what on internet without protections. There's more than just deleting cache. Try me.
