What resolution is your computer screen set at? Why?
Mine is: 1280 x 1024 (max)

I like it when everything is smaller. It helps me see more when I'm working on things.

What about you?

Mine is 1014 x 768 Good enuff for me to see. My monitor is about 15".

Can pick between 800 x 600 and 1920 x 1440 for vision on my puter.

If I own a monitor like 21" then I will select 1280 x 1024.

I do wish I could make my resolution greater cuz bigger is better!

Mine is: 1280 x 1024. Because I don't like this resolutions a small. lol

Mine is set for 1152x864.

More and more people are using 1024x768 so when I make webpages I need something larger than that in order to fit the entire page I'm working on AND Adobe GoLive's menus.

I hate 800 x 600. Most websites and programs are designed for 800 x 600. However, when you view the webpages... you have to scroll a little bit because the window edges make up for the difference in causing the webpages to be horizontal scrollable. :(

1152x864 resolution for me. ;) I just like the size of it on the monitor. Just perfect sized. :D

Mine is an old puter from '98, and only limited up to 1024x768. I prefer more pixels on the screen so that I can open programs and put them in one area and so on.

1152x864 resolution here with 15" monitor. Plannin' to buy a new 17" this fall or next year 2005. :)

I have two montiors from graphic card VGA-DVI so I can work and more space. Both are 1024 by 768 pixels flat panel ViewSonic VA520 and Gateway EV700 :D :type:

I would do it at my resolution on both monitors. I would love to have 2 or 3 monitors to work with. It would really make things a lot easier for me! :thumb:

If you read my post in another thread:

I'm currently in the Entertainment Technology Lab at RIT. This lab has 19 computers. Most of them are PCs and a few are MACs. The MACs are the ones mostly used for video and graphics programs such as iVideo/iMovie. Anyway, almost all the PCs are set up with two monitors and that's what makes them cool. What's even better is the fact that the average maximum resolution that they can be set at... 1792 x 1344 pixels. That's something that I love using! It allows me to see more on the screen. Right now, I'm looking at this "Message:" box for AllDeaf before posting it... and it's actually half as wide as the whole screen! Hehehe! What else I also like is the way it spans to two monitors. Now, I can get more work done. I am thinking about doing this when I get my computer upgraded. I'll be adding a second monitor so I can do more work and get more things done in less time.

I'm at 1024x768...that's the max this LCD can go...it's a 15" LCD monitor. It's high enough for general stuff, but working with higher resolution images, would need a bit higher than that, anyhow it's good to go. :)

I sometimes use 1280 x 1024 or 1600 x 1200, most of time I set it to 1280 x 1024 for surfing, watching the animes & TV, Im'ing, programming & scripting, etc etc.

1600 x 1200 for photoshopping or 3D modeling, more resolution, more room for me to increase numbers of view windows to modify.

My 21" monitor & geforce video card can go up to 2048 x 1536 but hasn't try that highest setting yet... I couldn't find any reason to try it out :(
